Had a fender bender yesterday going to get Susan, I was only 20 miless from home. :-( I just can't drive anymore. It is an effort to drive to town....really!
Mothers' Dr. wont let her drive, don't know what we will do? I just drive as little as possible.

It has been a wonderful holiday, to be all together and NOT in the hospital!

It's my Birthday! Today I am 50, and loving it. You know so many people dread their 50th, but not I. You see any birthday I can have now is a miracle.

Naturally Susan has sent me the first word on the PC! My girl friend will be by after work, and I always, always decorate my tree on my birthday. I am having some difficulty this year with a puppy chewing things as I try to decorate....
Time to get started on something. Susan put me a Christmas tree or a Holiday pic or something for my Birthday on my blog today.
I want to voice this problem to any who want to read it. Not that any of you fix the problem, only be there, and "talk" to me on occassion.
You may or may not recall my near death visit in the hospital. I was in before Christmas and out in mid January.
Because I had an infection(with no spleen, no immunity sysytem) they gave me 3 strong antibiotics. MASSIVE does for 4 wks, and then when I came home I took more. It saved my life..............but caused me to lose some hearing, so now with a hearing aid that is not working I find I have lost all of my hearing! It is driving me crazy!
The GOOD NEWS, I am buying a digital aid Monday, it may take 2 wks to get here, it will come to the University, and they will adjust it to the hearing tests I have had. Oh God, I sure do want to hear, so if you have a little extra room in your prayers, pray for my hearing and my aids....the man over that department (audiology) has a "slight" hearing loss. I think he is strecthing it when he says slight. He adjusted my aid so badly! But a digital one should be ok.

Well Thanksgiving came and went, and Of ourse Mother made rolls that didn't eise, of course, and were naturally burnt. Sigh,,,,,,,Worst was the Turkey it was still frozen, so we ate it Friday.
Ah yes, another holiday here at my house.
But I gave thanks out loud that I was alive and at home and so was she. As for my family it is alive too, and I can't ask for much more. Right?
I order the most BEAUTIFUL Tulips, and other bulbs. Ican't get rid of this italic?? Wonder why? one more time.
They came from Holland, that is why they are sooo late in arriving! I thought they would be here at least in Nov. BEFORE Thanksgiving...but noooooooo, they were shipped from some place in the states on Nov 29!!
Let me tell you I do plant bulbs after the first , 2, or 3 frost....as long as the ground is not hard and frozen.
We have had some frost, and then the temp comes up to 55 degrees, so the ground is still soft enough. But they told me to expect them in 10-14 days!!!!!!!from Nov. 29! Only one bulb is a summer bulb.
These are the prettiest I have ever seen in my life!!! I got some called Ice stick tulips, Greenland tulips, a Giant sampler of Crocuses,and Flame flower just for hummers and it blooms in the summer, it grow like a vine, probably a cousin of the honeysuckle.
Gonna try and add a pic of them . Isn't that lovely :-)

Today I got stuff down from attic for Christmas, and gonna buy a tree now. Later friends. Only 9 shopping days left until my 50th Birthday!!! I hear a strange chewing noise, I think it is my bay Sugar, doing something bad.........................:-(
