Wow, Last I wrote was on 12/26/04..........shall we say I have been busy? Hmn, same old thing, dr.s and hospitals. Feb saw me getting a MRI to see if I had stomach &/or liver cancer......NO was the answer. March saw me having foot surgery to remove 2 tumors, found out why I was in so much pain...I had bone rubbing against bone! 3 weeks bed rest! Yikes!!!! so I would recover, and not use my foot. April, May still bothering me, and I use a cane. Then May 25, I had been feeling bad for some time, and was in lots of pain in my midsection. I woke mother to call rescue squad. I went to hospital they admitted me, ran lots of tests, and found large spots on stomach & Liver. New surgeon tells me they are tumors, and released me (May 27)to come & see him June 1, 05...... He got back more tests...gall bladder is ok....I think. But in the hospital he told me he thinks I have a good chance of liver cancer, and if that is true, we would start treatment which would be chemo...... Well I tell ya, once a doc says cancer to you, it is hard to hear anything else. So I go in the hospital in the morning ( June 7, at 10am-2pm) they will poke & prode me until I am ready, and I will have a liver biopsy of the tumors on my liver to see if they are indeed cancerous. There are 2 risks he mentioned. 1 is bleeding. #2 is liver failure. So he will keep me in the hospital overnite. I will get out wed June 8. The surgeon will proferm this himself. He is aware I have reservations and plans to go to Las Vegas, (Yes again :-) )and he told me "GO! Go and have some fun!" He also said I wont get my results back until June 13, and I leave June 12, and come back June 17! So I will not know anything while I am gone...I like it that way. and how have you been the past 6 months?
