It appears that I haven't been around for a very long time! Sorry about that.......but I have been busy, and when not busy I have been sick. I went to Las Vegas and won $550.00 ! I put $150 aside to eat with and gamble with, and $400.00 to take home.....which I did bring home....REALLY. So I am proud of that win. Susan & I went to Nashville, after that journey I went to Atlanta, for a long wk end with my cousin and I really had a good time! I want to go back to see him, after my surgery whenever that will be.
Speaking of surgery , I am faxing a letter to my oncologist today, to tell her my choice of surgery, so she can give me a date.
My back has killed me, because of osteoarthritis, not to mention the huge tumor in the front that makes it hard to get out of bed....anyway, what I am getting to is I am getting a hospital bed tomorrow. I am really excited about it. I have wanted and needed one for a long time. I can elevate my lower legs to keep them from swelling and I can elevate my head and chest to keep my hernia under control, and "Sugar" can't jump on my tumors and legs. LOL
I know that Susan has told you about our journey to Nashville, and that I have cancer I had Susan with me for a week, which was wonderful. She was very good to me, and I lapped it up.
I do want to mention that today the mail man brought me a Halloween card today. I opened it, not sure who this was from???? Who IS this Shirley Peters????? From Mich. The card was real cute, just right for a dog lover like me, and out frll 10 scratch off lottery tickets! Hmmmm, I like her already. Once I saw "Shirl" I KNEW who it was! Aint you sweet, Shirl? Who has a great blog www.other-side.blogspot.com I want to thank you for all of that, but most of all that you have had me on your mind. That means alot to me.
